Anyone catch the number of people watching the Castrol race from Volunteer.......Rigsby said it was 33,000! Wow!

Hopefully, that makes it profitable for every one!

I can't speak on the specific deal that FLO may have with the tracks they've scheduled but from what I've always been told...the tracks themselves get a decent but not crazy flat, one time fee to purchase the rights to broadcast a race and thats it for their part. How many people watching or buying seems to only benefit the company. Fortunately some of that money comes back into the sport but what thats going to cost in the long run is still TBD. I think we're losing the grassroots part of the sport so gradually that it isn't getting noticed.

Just them at $150 is $5 million!! Also that's not people, that's accounts. A lot of those had many people watching. Maybe we're not as "niche" as some think afterall!
