Sad to see the shape one of my home tracks has been in the last 10 years, with the exception of the McDowell promoted Lucas Oil race several years ago. I wish someone with $$$ and love could run the place, wishful thinking I suppose.

I was there many years ago for a WoO race (I think Shane Clanton won it), and I thought it was a great track back then.

Their Facebook page stated on December 20th that they were working on next year’s calendar of events but sounds like things changed I guess? I went to a weekly show once last year and track still has potential. They really need to do something with the front stretch grandstands though.

Heard it will not happen inspector said it needed about 65 grand worth of work before opening the owners won't speed a dollar so going to sit empty
