Swims Family to Support Martha, Will Pause Racing for the 2022 Season

Good afternoon, our racing family –
Due to Martha’s recent cancer diagnosis, the Swims Family has decided to place a pause on the 2022 Dixie and Rome Speedway race season. We so appreciate the well wishes and prayers you have all expressed thus far.
We have always done everything as a family, including racing. And now, we are blessed to come together and rally around Martha as she continues the fight.
With the exception of the end of last season, Mickey and Martha have been at every race together during their 50 plus years of racing. Since Martha will not attend races this season, Mickey feels his place is to be home with her.
Martha continues to be in great spirits! Her doctors have recommended that she continue to quarantine during this phase of treatment, but if you would like to send words of support or encouragement, please send a card to 150 Dixie Dr., Woodstock, GA 30189.
Finally, Mickey would like to ask everyone to “Keep on praying,†for Martha and the rest of the family. We appreciate you all and wish everyone a great 2022 racing season.
