Port Royal pays $4K to 410 sprints plus $100 tow, $3K to late models plus $100 tow and $1K to limited lates plus $50 tow for a regular weekly show. If any driver in any class wins from 9th or back wins there is a $300 bonus. Hard to beat that in the area.

Port Royal is becoming a premiere racing facility. The fair board, and that really surprises me, have made a commitment to make the speed palace a destination for all dirt track fans.

Becoming? Nah, it's been that way for quite a few years now. Word is only just now getting out! They are certainly proof that a dirt track can thrive in today's environment even when it didn't used to be all that appealing. I Just wish they were a little closer to me to make it possible to go weekly!
