Thanks to all, it was cancer that took her life, small cell in her lung and throat, and lymphoma in her stomach. Diagnosed on March 1st, and she passed on Saturday night at 10:53pm March 26th with me holding her hand. Family, friends, and the racing community all were ultra supportive with prayers and thoughts. You can see the unreal kindness for her on Facebook on the Talladega Short Track page.

Thank you to the hundreds for your support. I have family flying in on Friday for the weekend from the west coast who have never been to a race or the South to be with me and help get thru this. 42 years married and she had been to about 600 races with me over that time.

Rest in peace Robin, I will honor you opening night at Talladega.

Mark.. Sorry to hear about you loss. I have no idea what you are going through but can imagine. You have always seemed to be a solid straight up poster that never got caught up in the name calling an such. Just about racing.

I do find it odd on the original cause of death posted on here.. seems that happens often.
