If these nascar guys would run more short track stuff like this, they could help tracks out tremendously. Sorry but William Byron is drawing more fans in than Matt Henderson even if he runs around in last place in every race. I've seen too many tracks close to even begin to be upset about tracks sticking a guy at the tail to try to draw in more fans.

I know some of you want to chit on NASCAR in general, but it still has influence in the industry. Check out this tweet from Jeff Gluck on the race last night, there is no denying Byron and Larson being there generated eyes on the event, both in-person and on FloRacing.

FloSports says the Kyle Larson dirt late model race last night in Tennessee became “the most-watched single day event in FloSports history.” That’s not just for FloRacing, but all of FloSports. Volunteer Speedway also had its highest attendance in 20 years.

I doubt Larson was out a dime, but most of the other points stand. If the provisional helps fan interest, they should have advertised it.

I agree and like someone else said Kyle was promoting the race so, if he decides he wanted Willie B in it so be it.

              Totally agree.

We were in attendance and my wife and I were 100% in favor of Byron getting a feature spot. It was amazing to watch his improvement from hot laps to feature.

Lets not forget.........he was in the Warrior house car. They dont have a stellar super program yet and had a rookie driver to boot! But kuddos to Mike Nuchols for stepping up and offering the house car for Mr. Byron!
