And he’s back into the Rocket for the rest of the week.

Longhorn certainly is the flavor of the day when it comes to drivers switching brands. Hard not to look at the success of Overton, JD, TMac, Kyle Larson and few others and not have others trying chase what seems to be the hottest hot ticket. Based on how Longhorns performed at Eldora last year, I can see why you'd want to take one there. It is a very good product. Those four in particular are some good car salesmen, but they come from some exceptional race teams as well.
Now it is still early in the year but I'm watching some drivers who made the switch over the last off season and while I watch them this year I'm seeing pretty much - no attributable difference in how they are running now compared to what part of the pack they ran in before they made the change. Just something to keep an eye on through the season.
Someone who has upped his game a little would be Ashton Winger. I think his jump into the 89 has made him a little better this season.Political correctness,...is the inability to speak the truth about the obvious.

longhorns and rockets are winning every Saturday night somewhere in the country……they both have a good group of salesmen that drive them on a national level.
I like that they have the chassis rivalry between them.Where is the move over flag when you need it?????

Rockets are definitely the better bullring car of the two. Longhorns tend to be better at the bigger tracks.Originally posted by over4T View PostIt was definitely Rocket night at Lincoln tonight.

The sport is definitely a two horse race right now with Rocket and Longhorn, especially on the national stage. You hear very little anymore about Barry Wright, Black Diamond, Mastersbuilt, and MB Customs cars. I am sure those chassis brands are winning some races on the local and regional levels, but not on the national tours like LOLMS, WOOLMS and XR.
