This coming weekend. WOO show at Mississippi Thunder Speedway in southwest Wisconsin. I think it’s owned by the Timms family (their son races supers). It’s a classy joint that produces great racing. Another one of those tracks I wish we had down here in the south. I’ve only seen it on TV. I’m jealous of the locals up there.

Is there something else going on in that area, or are the jacked up hotel prices solely because of this race weekend?

It raced good last year. I remember Strickler and Sheppard trading slide jobs. Excited to watch on Dirtvision.

To be completely honest, I'm not sure but I wouldn't be surprised if it were because of this event. The town is a smaller college town of less than 30k people so there isn't a lot of lodging there ro begin with.

I didn’t know the USMTS series was part of this show too. That just further reinforces my original opinion. This will be a fantastic show. Even better than I initially thought.

Idk where you're looking, but there's plenty in Winona starting at 90 a night....

When I looked the other day it said 90 was in LA Crosse which is about an hour southeast of fountain city/winona. The only winona one I saw was 400. Maybe I didn't look on the right sight 🤔
