    I-77 Speedway (WV) - Closed Permanently

    I 77 SPEEDWAY is closed permanently, I made every attempt to finish this season out, but it just isn’t possible, thanks for the support I’ve had for the past racing we had. Thankyou

    The guy previously running the track didn’t have promoter qualities. Often canceling 4-5 days before races.

      Went from this weekends races are cancelled to there done racing in less then a hour

        Yeah. 2 shows for the holiday, to cancel the weekend, to closed in 12 hours. I like that track, but seems management ran it like a fan and not a business man. I77 is surrounded by steel block late models but they kept alienating them to try and run only super shows. Not many SB cars would run the super shows to give the 3 aluminum block cars a field to race against.

            Went downhill since their cash cow, Hillbilly Hundred, moved to Tyler Co.
