Did Sheppard get the majority of his points in Florida?

I can't remember the last time he won a Lucas Oil race. Why are there so many points races at the same track at the beginning of the season? It gives a seriously unfair advantage to whoever is hot at that particular track at that time. McCreadie has spent so much time playing catch up when he's the one passing cars, according to the hard charger points anyway.

Long ways to go. If it makes you feel better, his lead has shrunk down to diddly. Hopefully it comes down to the last event of the year to settle it.

They’re also racing a bunch of new tracks. They’re coming to the Midwest next week. He’ll be very tough at Davenport on Wednesday. Guarantee it.

Yeah. Rocket seems to be lost. It's quickly becoming the Longhorn Twisted Sister DLM Series.

Didn’t Rocket add some engineers to their staff this year? Makes ya wonder if they are working on the current cars or the next generation? Either way it can’t be cheap having people like that on the payroll.

              Yeah they’re so lost. (Sarcasm)

Not every Florida race was a points race. Seems if they had perfect attendance- their top 5 finishes went toward the points.

The gulf between the top two is huge so far this season. Barring a bunch of DNF's I can't see RTJ or Erb catching either of them, but that might not matter as much as how much they earned. Thornton is already in 6 figures.

Remember that Lucas Points are much different than WOO. A lot of points can be made up in 1 race if a driver finishes up front and another driver falls out Early.
6 figures sounds like a lot of money- but that’s basically the cost of 2 engines or 1 complete racecar.
