I get that winger lost his cool but I can’t believe there’s guys on this forum saying he was the bad guy in that situation, he got ran off the track (that has no walls) multiple times after all his sliders were clean. McCarter is a bad dude for that and that was dirty driving by him. Winger honestly had the right to be that mad, hate to see it.

I don't follow either driver, so my opinion is genuinely unbiased. It's true Winger was hyper aggressive, but it a appeared to me that the 51 was trying to wreck him for several laps. That being said, if I'm Winger's car owner and someone drives him like that, and he DOESN'T get out of the car and try to whip his A$$, then I'd fire him on the spot. Not condoning crew running on the track, but that's easy to say watching a video. When you're a crew member and you see someone do your driver that way, your legs just start moving & all rationale leaves your brain, and you just want to hit something or somebody. Don't ask me how I know.

Winger has a brake pedal he chose not to use it. He had already ran over Millwood took him out. I've seen many go over the backstretch at Phenix city. At some point you have to lift or just take the consequences.

This X 2!!!Originally posted by YeetIt View PostI have never been a fan of Ashtens, but after last night I am. He could have destroyed that 51 multiple times and didn't. Had that been me driving I can guarantee the 51 would have been parked after the second door slam. What a clown.8/13/16

So your stance is that Ashton should slow down and let people pass him? Now you sound like a Moyer! Nobody with a brain could blame that incident on Winger, especially not after McCarter ran him clear off the track so many times and Ashton kept passing him cleanly.Originally posted by lightningfast View PostWinger has a brake pedal he chose not to use it. If you think this was Winger's fault, you weren't paying attention. He may be an idiot as some said, but this one was not his fault. Could he have lifted, yes. But that's like saying he could have stayed home and avoided the wreck. This one is on the 51.Last edited by nc mudcat; 07-20-2022, 07:37 AM.
