I80 had a facebook post Weds morning warning drivers to keep tabs on their stuff because this has been happening at other big races.

Are theses items being stolen while the feature is going on and ALL the crews are away from the trailers? Sounds like a dumb question, but you would think most of the LOLMS teams know who belongs around the cars and trailers for each team by this time of the season. What did the slim ball do, drive it right out of the pits?

I doubt Robinsons pit bike was stolen during the A given he only lasted 5 laps and pulled straight to his trailer when he pulled off.

Sounds like several teams were hit in the overnight hours.

It's pretty common for teams to leave certain things outside the hauler on nights when they are going to be at the same place for multiple days. Mainly because everybody knows everybody and everyone feels comfortable leaving things like the pit bikes and such out.

We used to leave our quad out at eldora backed up to the fence for the entire 4 days we were there. A lot of the other teams still do this now.

Sadly, there are theives out there that watch for this kind of stuff. It seems like they got Ross this time.

Everybody used to leave the 4wheeler and pit bikes on the lift gates over night. But at the last few races I’ve been at they have been closed up completely right after the races

I'm sure he'd say the 7 came down on him, but come on dude...yes, one of the fastest cars in DLM racing and you "must" get the lead going into one? He's been looking at his right hand a number of times. I just hope he, and everyone else, is okay.

Did Madden tell not to remove the hood to use two wreckers? What's he hiding? Running 3 shocks on RF like 1978?

I didn't catch that part, but yeah, they were awfully concerned about covering the back up, as it was being towed. Hard to keep your secrets a secret when everybody is watching. I wouldn't be surprised if they load up and go home.
