I am not sure who owns that car, but he finished 2nd (started 3rd) in his heat race.

I attended the Harris Clash for IMCA modifieds at Deer Creek for the first time and was blown away to hear Mike Marlar was racing an IMCA modified. He looked quite impressive in it and made the Feature and ran real well until another car came down on him and I think he got a cut right side tire and pulled into the infield.

Did Marlar learn something at Deer Creek that helped him win the Thursday night late model race at Cedar Lake ? After all Deer Creek speedway is some what a copy of Cedar Lake.

By the way , congrats to Marlar on his win at Cedar Lake.

Marlar is having a super year

22 straight top 5s for the 157, quite the streak

Considering his schedule, that streak is awesome. Says a lot about him obviously, but also says a lot about his car, his motor program, his equipment, and his crew. They’ve got everything clicking.

Very impressive run. Hope he gets a crown jewel or two.
