There’s a handful of good tracks in the south, but one problem is the lack of good promoters. The state of Georgia, for example, is in desperate need of some kind of dirt racing commission and commissioner. Somebody who can get everybody on the same page, cut way back on the number of classes, get the rules aligned, run more efficient programs that are more fan and children friendly, and get tracks working with each other instead of against each other. Stands and “amenities” aren’t the problem. Unfortunately, it seems like most people down here don’t care if the sport is healthy or not. That’s the biggest problem, IMO.

Around Charlotte a lot of the dirt tracks are working together and cross promoting each other 👍 it’s been nice to see.

If we are being honest, Pennsboro was awful racing and red clay full of abrasive material rubbers up every time. That leads to lots of awful racing in the southeast.

I never claimed Pennsboro to be racey. But Tyler county sure is. My comment wasn’t a dig at anyone who lives down south. It’s just a fact. Red clay isn’t good and there’s only 3/4 race tracks down there I can say race well. (Tri County, Screven, Senoia, Magnolia, Eastbay). I shouldn’t even include Eastbay but I’ll give y’all the benefit of the doubt.
