We desperately need the 44 back in order to give JD some competition. Hopefully we see him back soon.

Carrier passed several cars. It looked like there was bottom groove if you knew how to navigate it. Eckert and carrier seemed to be the only ones that knew how to use it.Originally posted by Oiler View PostLast night's Outlaw race wasn't any better. At least Lucas avoids Williams Grove and puts on a good show at Port Royal when in Eastern Pennsylvania.
I won't say it was any better but at least there was some passes made.

Can’t fault him for that but being a top 2 car in the country, it seems like he’s passing up a lot of money between now and then.Originally posted by Oiler View PostAt present, his posted schedule lists him off each weekend until Eldora. Makes sense since he'll resume the lead in the Dream with the $128K jackpot.

You mean a wedge car with side boards? If so, I think youd have to setup the suspension very differently. The big side boards would actual make the car roll in the opposite direction when sideways in the corner. With all the roll steer and such that's being used on today's cars that would have to accounted for.I'd love to see an 86-88 wedge car with modern shocks & tires race against the current cars. Be easy enough to tweak the old 4-link cars to work.
