Whether or not it's been a good move only Jimmy and the team know. He's won 6 races this year compared to 7 last year, but had a Lucas Oil point fund check to add to the bank account. Traveling costs were probably higher for him in 2021, but with inflation who knows.

There is only 1 driver that we can all agree made money in 2022 running an open schedule, the rest are only speculative.

I was at Cherokee a few years back standing in line to buy a ticket. This couple was in line and had driven all the way from Arkansas to Gaffney, SC to see Jimmy Owens race. 👍 Jimmy has a great fan base.
