Mark Richards was so happy to see one of his sh*tmobiles win from the front row again. Seriously though, good for that kid. Nothing beats seeing someone win that truly appreciates it.

yes, but the driver still has to drive the car. Garrett was good both nights and even McCreadie mentioned needing to get better (to be able to beat him) in his interview friday. The track helped, but Garrett was going to be a contender regardless.Originally posted by Raceready View PostThere is advantage for some in the lesser performing chassis brands on these 1 lane freight train races that they do get a chance to win once in a while .

I don’t know this Garrett bunch at all or anything about him, but if he went 100 laps and beat some big name racers, front row or not, I’d be proud as heck of that kid if he was mine. Good lord…if the others are such big name drivers and you can’t pass the kid in 100 laps….then he kicked your butt, and he deserves accolades. What an accomplishment for the young man. Nice to see fresh faces win once in awhile. It’s good for the sport and everybody else associated with it.

Not doubting you, Pennsboro — you’re a good dude — but when has he been out of control? Maybe I missed something, but I think I’ve watched most of his races this year, either in person or on TV. For his age, he seems very smooth and poised. Maybe it’s just the Georgia bias I’ve adopted since moving here in 2014, but this kid seems legit in every way.

Pennsboro last week went from “ he’s hit everything but the pace truck this year “ in the tri county thread to now he’s only “ out of control at times, bright future “ Awesome to see Garrett get a big win and change peoples opinions of him in a weeks timeLast edited by Thedoctor; 10-17-2022, 02:33 PM.

I’m not a giant Cody fan but it is cool that the youngster won…..and had enough style and class to thank the goat for the solid advice.
I can’t wait for the actual finish to the race here in a few days, smfh.Where is the move over flag when you need it?????
