I don’t get all the longhorn love all of a sudden. They’ve been at the top of late model racing or hovering right there at it for a while. JD’s “greatest season of all time†was in 2015. The xr1 revived Rocket Chassis in 2016 and it was pretty widely known it was basically a longhorn copy

The cross member was raised up to where a longhorn was, the way the uppers mount, the raised rear frame rails, bolt in jbar and 4 bar mounts, etc. Kevin Rumley redesigned the the longhorn car in 2013-14 and then the XR-1 was built two years later using a lot of the same ideas.Originally posted by ImCryn2 View PostA Rocket XR1 is a Longhorn copy? Since I've inadvertently stepped on the toes of the overly sensitive fans that like the chassis which is named after something long and tubular, I will give them a salute that is based on their overall performance in the big events last season so " HAPPY BOO YEAR " ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !Originally posted by Raceready View PostHappy moo year ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !Last edited by Raceready; 12-31-2022, 09:00 PM.
