sometimes when your as good as jd and overton has been, its hard to change what you've been doing because it won so much for you, so they get caught in a rut for a bit, while i still think they are great drivers, the 32 and 20 are really good right now, they have found something, along with it doesn't hurt that they both will wheel the crap out of the car

Actually, he finished 10th Friday. But in the last Month, he has 6 wins and 5 seconds in 12 races.

I wonder if Overton decided to follow a series full time has stretched things a little for his team. He seemed to run better when he was picking his spots.

I guess the good news for him is the two huge races coming up at Eldora.

JD has been great at Eldora but his cars have had trouble staying up on the lead in longer races. His Eldora race was aided by the track locking down for about the last 70 laps. Should be interesting to see how these two do next month with neither of them running at their peak of the last couple years
