nick_hoffman2 Calling it an early weekend here at the North South. Broke a roller on the rocker arm last night so we can’t run that motor. Didn’t wanna unload the backup car being so far back in points. We will prepare for next week and the upcoming Outlaw races.

Side note for all you facebook engine specialists. It had nothing todo with the air cleaner coming off. The air cleaner got hit by a rock and knocked off. I didn’t pull off because I was running in the top 3 and also my car owner said to keep running. If I was in 15th it would have been a different story.

Nobody dominates the North/South. That’s the beauty of it.

I agree. The North/South is one of my favorite weekends of the season. The track is usually very good. The quality of the competition is solid. But the fact that no one dominates makes that four car invert really tough on the top guys to start up front. This ain't Eldora. There are going to be some good drivers starting deep in the field. Should make for an exciting race.

See the post race interview where Bobby was asked if he has brooms? Get out the brooms for a sweep?
He downplayed the sweep. Said these races were only 25 laps. Saturday will be much harder. I think he is maturing very well. He also was patient with lap cars sliding to the wall on the straights.
