As World 100 week is upon us never forget Shane Unger.

Iâ€™ll never forget that night. It happened right in front of me in the middle of turns 3 & 4. I got the news just a bit before the big race started

I bring a RIP #79 doughboy Shane Unger shirt with me every year since that accident.

If they ever get more then 120 cars again I hope they rename the Non-Qualifiers race the Shane Unger Memorial.

We raced with him a few times at Kokomo when we had a UMP Modified. Clean racer and a class act.

Work with Mike and Shad at the shop and all are great people. Really wish they would run a special race like a Shane Unger Challenge. Run it on the night of the Baltes Classic. Pay Late Models $7979 to win and $779 to start. Pay Mods $2079 to win and $279 to start and Stocks $1079 to win and $179 to start.
