Do they still have racing without an ambulance on the premises?

They have local EMS and ambulance on-site at all times now. The culture has changed, but the long weekend remains.

We always referred to it jokingly as, the 72 Hours of Phenix City, but I enjoyed every minute, so... If you don't like it, you don't have to come. From 1986 up thru when the World Finals race started scheduling on top of the National 100, this race and the Blue Grey 100 @ Cherokee was how we concluded our season. Most seasons it coincided with the Final Nascar race at Atlanta which we listened to on the radio simultaneously during the day and most years on the way home. With the way our country and economy are headed I think taking a more positive view on things is better for the long term health of the sport overall instead of posting back handed and derogatory comments that don't add to the conversation.

I can't even fathom that many classes. But if it works, good for them.
Crown Vics? that's something new for me.
They once had a mini van class near me but it fizzled out.

Yep...the won it too. We went by the track that Saturday (burnout day) on the way down to Johnson City and you wouldn't have known anything was going on. Barely any traffic heading in.

I didn't know they won it. I was pretty sure they were in the race but, wasn't 100% sure. Thanks for the confirmation.

As a said above. The culture has changed tremendously. Billy is no longer in any managerial role.
