Unless a guy is a legitimate championship contender (and there are very few of them) I don't know why anybody would run a complete series There are so many good paying races around now that they could make some darn good money without having to travel all over the country.

SAS cash for Overton all but assured. He will be racing at his best track. Makes sense to me.

BTW, I am kind surprised that Briggs is following Lucas or for that matter any series that is so demanding. He is getting kind of long in the tooth and has very limited success running against this kind of competition. More power to him, I guess
