A local track had a street car championship special one year at the end of the season, and the late model champ put a legal motor, legal tires, and few other modifications on his late model car and ran it in the feature race. And won the race.

Mastersbiltracer on here probably knows that story. lol

I'm not sure now if he did win the LM point championship but he did win several titles.

He paid a price. They awarded him Hobby Stock Driver of the Year, at the banquet.

I hope there will be a good tech inspection of those stock cars. I would expect RTJ to be the one to beat in a Stock Car.
