The SRX (Superstar Race Experience) is coming on August 8th. That should be kinda interesting. I don't think they do the guest driver car anymore like they did a couple years back.

It is still 200 miles from my doorstep to the track but it is good to have it "nearby". I've been burned by a three hour drive just to have a rain out show up at the same time I did.

I'm also lucky with Mississippi Thunder since I have family living in Winona MN and always a place to stay when I go there.

Well that isn't so local afterall. but most of the tracks people go to big events are further. I admit I would rather drive 145 miles than 245 like I have a number of times.
