They all do a fantastic job, when you think of the series you think of the voice, they all represent well. These longtime announcers become family with fans and competitors.

Just one of the things i really like about James Essex. The way he's always bringing up the old super stars of late model racing. Brownstown had a ton of great drivers, some of the best to ever get behind a wheel in a late model. The old Kentucky drivers and race tracks like Barren Co. and Taylor Co speedway.
The way he gives you details about a small time driver and who the car owner is.
I've never met this gentleman but i highly admire him.

James is a great racing historian and he is as nice to the fans at the track or off the track. Can’t say that about 1 of his Flo associates. Granted: they are on the job and are working and their time is limited but James treats everyone as friends/family. Being in the business as he has as a promoter, announcer and ect. - he appreciates the loyal fan base a little more than the others. Summary: “ Old School”

What a pleasure it is to listen to James Essex announce a race compared to Rueben's yelling and misinformation.

Great post! That's what I like about James's announcing too. When I first started following the sport, James got me up to speed quickly with all the drivers, their cars and engines. He's also a very nice guy and very fan friendly. When Lucas switched over from streaming the races to MavTV and many of us got F'd over by Mav, James went out of his way to try to help many of us right here on 4M. He's a great ambassador for the sport.

I'm also a big fan of Ben Shelton. I love his interviews and pit coverage. He's also been very friendly to me. I've emailed him and he's responded to me immediately even though there was no reason that he had to do so.

When FLO took over from DoD, they made a great choice hiring James, Ben and DJ as a team. It was a huge step up from James and Dilner.

It's over $400 a year for Canadians. FLO is a steal and you get so many other sports with it that give you something to watch all year round.

How can you possibly go to a race(s) for $25/month?

No its not as good as the deal with Flo but its still great!

A $10 package of ramen noodles is a great deal if you're hungry enough.

Exactly, cut back on those Pabst Blue Ribbons and cancer sticks and enjoy some racing!
