Burroughs is onto his new gig with Riggs and Brandon Overton.

RTJ was also in clean air most of the feature except when lapping slower cars. Clean air + a good race car and driver = Checks and Trophies.

so he may have had time to help an old buddy out this week since his new team sat idle?

I’m just stirring the pot with the Burroughs stuff, but Ricky did appear to be quite a bit better this weekend than he has been. Not saying he hasn’t been good, just not like he was early in the year.

Trust me, it's Ricky Thornton Jr.! He did it in modifieds, he did it in the SSI car, he's doing it in the Koehler car. He'll do it in any car. It really is "RTJ doing RTJ things". The only other driver on the top shelf with Thornton is Pierce. Day in and day out, those two are just better than anybody else.

I seen a video of someone asking to interview him working on his mod a long time back and the guy says I won't get your suspension in the shot and he says that doesn't matter I can give you my setup and you couldn't drive it anyways along that lines. I think he is the best I've seen I'm just pissed he's not in the mods.

Well, there is the fact that Hudson won right out of the gate. lol He didn't look very comfortable in the car while doing it though, and no doubt has spent the majority of the season looking for a feel he was comfortable with.

Hudson has tried Longhorns a few times now and went back to Rockets soon thereafter. Some drivers just can’t get the feel they want in particular chassis.
