Kind of surprising, especially in the Land of Lincoln. I thought this race would get 40 cars easy with nobody else racing tonight. Hopefully they can get a better date that's not right after Memorial Day weekend next year/

I don't pay close enough attention, didn't even know they were racing tonight (not that I would've gone). Mid-week, plus that little track is not everyone's cup of tea. Worth watching so far, though. Glad to see Moos run so well, and the 122 car make it in.

i love macon and all the bull rings. that was a better finish than any of the eldora races will be next week. is the economy finally catching up to the national level teams? its definitely showed up weekly this year, but 27 cars for the highest paying race that track has ever had is not good. Next week will be a good metric i suppose

I'm sorry but, Macon has put on some really good races with the late models but, last night wasn't one of them. The cars are not the problem.

Money alone doesn't always equate to more cars.

Nothing wrong with Macon. I've seen a lot of 100 lappers with minimal cautions.
Last night was a example of guys driving over their heads. When guys loop it in front of the field, can't blame the track.

Bouncing and bicycling through some of those ruts. Yes, you can put it on the track a little bit. They received a whole bunch of rain there. The track was loose and got shoved around. Those ruts and holes were beyond "character".

I will agree though, it was more interesting than big track aero. That's for darn sure. I do hate seeing all the wrecks however.
