FLO buying Eldora?

Would cause problems on both sprint & late model fronts potentially. WoO sanctions Kings Royal & of course DirtCar sanctions all the late model racing. Highly doubt Flo would allow other sanctions to run events at a track if they owned it. Sprints would probably go High Limit. Would this lead to Lucas sanction of Eldora big events. That'd be a mess imo.

Well w stewart selling his cup part I wouldn't doubt it's for sale. Think he may concentrate on drag racing and having baby's. I can take part in helping him have baby's 😉THE REAL SLIDING SIDEWAYS!

The kings royal was not sanctioned for the first 10-15 years. I don't see why the sanction can't be yanked from any of the events at Eldora. Lucas is already in the mix with the DTWC. They could take the tech over, even if they were not the sanction.Originally posted by chathamracefan View PostWould cause problems on both sprint & late model fronts potentially. So much for Smoke continuing the legacy...(If its true) Selling to a corporation would just be a sacrilege, IMHO. I get the falling out with cup, but Eldora??? Is he hurting for cash?"In the Republic of Mediocrity, Genius is Dangerous." - Robert Green Ingersoll

The Eldora big events do have enough "stroke" to run unsanctioned. Things are different nowadays with the streaming & corporations involved. I would not want to see a full on sanction for the late models. That has always been one of the beauties of Eldora is there is no series provisionals for the Dream & World. And to contradict my earlier post, Kings Royal is outlaw sanctioned but they run a special format for that event that is not the normal WoO format.
