      Yes, thank you Nathan.

Which heat race gets the pole for the feature?

Heat 6. If 49 wins that heat go ahead and write the check cause it will be a snoozer.

I am thinking the same thing and I hope that is not the case. Talk about the luck of the draw, he has no competition in his heat and he gets the pole heat too boot.
I have nothing against Davenport, he is a great racer, but he also stinks up quite a few shows.

I try to look at it this way, we're watching history being made. I wish I could go back and watch Bloomer and Moyer stink up shows. And if JD does start on the pole, it doesn't mean he'll win. I think the racing has been great so far. I'm probably biased since the Dream is my favorite race of the year since it's the first Eldora Crown Jewel. Hope it's a good one.

No doubt JD is a great driver. The aero has really turned this into a sport where the biggest $ teams have a massive advantage. And his team is one of the best funded. The field of potential winners is thinner than ever. There were maybe 5 to 7 teams that had a reasonable shot at winning the 100 lapper. That # used to be closer to 15 or 20 teams say 15 years ago. The problem just gets worse every year 20 years ago everyone said winged sprints were follow the leader and late models were better racing. That has completely flipped on the bigger tracks.

It’s not an Eldora problem. It’s a car problem. It is magnified at eldora cause it is the premiere venue for the sport. But the racing is lackluster. 150 laps of feature action and the only lead change I recall was when Pierce pulled the motor Thursday. Maybe I missed another one.
