Unfortunately, everything I am hearing points to the "C" word. I hope that is not the case. Prayers going up or Chris and his family and his team too. He has always been nice to me.

I'm not a fan of the guy at all, but I wouldn't wish that on anyone. I lost my old man to cancer almost 4yrs ago now. Hopefully he shakes it off and is racing again before the season ends.

Really sorry to read and hear this. Sad to see him have to cut back. Chris is just an intense and driven racer. Hate the word cancer. Prayers for recovery.

It’s not, but it is serious enough for him to stay out of the car.

This isn’t the first time he’s taken time off to recover from something. I hope everything will eventually be okay this time too.

Is all this why he had previously said he was retiring from full time tour racing in 2025 or was this something else? Just curious since the announcements came pretty close to each other...

He's back to racing after being cleared by docs. Going to pick & choose where he runs the rest of the year since he missed some WoO events. Going by his racing FB page's post.

I hope he decides to come up to Deer Creek Speedway this 4th of July to win the WOO SLM race for $ 50000 . I plan on being there and would like to see him race.

Wonder why he didn’t have someone drive for him on the woo tour so he could keep getting points and not fall to far back. Is a replacement driver against the rules these days?

The plan was to drop off the Woo tour all along which is why he is already back to racing this weekend elsewhere.
