I agree this is more shocking than Hud leaving Rocket. I figure Hud has to be getting the ride and that Ricky got dumped for no other reason than they wanted Hud in the car. Dang shame for Ricky, but he'll be alright. He can win in anything. It would really stink if he got ripped off on another national title. I'm a fan of Hud, but if he does get the ride, that just ain't right.

Any car should keep him in the top 4. Now winning it all? He's still not good enough at Eldora. But maybe he can do good enough, as other races count too.

I agree. With the lead he has half way through the season, as long as he has a ride...any ride, he should make the playoffs. To me, it just seems like one of those "nobody said life is fair" situations. He should have been the champ last year and he certainly has been the best this year.

Especially with Burroughs having been Don O'Neal's crew chief when he won the Lucas title, I'd be shocked if Hud isn't taking the spot. I'm a big Hud fan, but this just doesn't sit right with me.

Clearly this decision was about something other than performance. The press release was from Ricky, not SSI. Maybe there are issues and they do not choose to be negative about the situation.

Jeremy Justice was Don's crew chief when he won the title. Burroughs was Don's crew chief when he was in the black diamond cars.

Hudson was not fired for Ricky, Todd wasn’t gonna race anymore then after covid happened Todd fired the team backup and they picked and choosed races through our 2020

Lurker, Kenny (Spike) Wallace doesn't know ---- about it lol. He's saying it's sponsor related which he could be right about that just because how expensive racing is but, it doesn't sound like he has any real insight to what happened.
