lol, right? Everyone who straps in a Rumley car wins, don't they? Not taking anything away from Ricky (he's clearly a top tier driver), but I don't think he pulled off a surprise win.

You said that he was winning cuz he had found something but it wouldn't last long cuz you can't keep a secret in the pits. He's been right at top for 3 yrs and now multiple teams and he is still winning. How has he kept that secret for so long?

He's been the fastest guy at most tracks for about 2 years. He was on a team sharing info with no one and no big pieces of the team left. What is different on the car is relatively subtle.

That's how it stayed a secret.

As for winning at FALS, he probably wouldn't have won in the SSI car. That's a place where he got into a better piece, as far as what you see from the car. The SSI car is at it best under lower grip conditions.

You seem to be throwing a myriad of topics and arguments into one. Thornton is one of the better drivers in the sport. He is not 3 tenths better than all of the other drivers. That's a fact, there isn't a guy on earth who would be. Kyle Larson isn't.
