I will go with the Hudson situation. I doubt the Ricky did anything that would warrant a release. They wanted Hudson. Hudson is not a better driver but they wanted him none the less. He left the Richards car and that alone says something was up IMO.

Ricky has a new ride as Owens team mate. I will be pulling for him.

I will be pulling for both drivers. I have nothing against either one. In my opinion both good drivers and very competitive. and I hope that doesn't change.

I’m not sure we can decide who the better drive is until the next few months shake out so we can at least compare some things.

RTJ, ya just knew his phone would be ringing. If you got the jack he's a no brainer. Hud is good too, but I wouldn't weigh them out equals. If Burns would rather have Hud in leu of arguably the hottest driver in the country, well I guess he likes who he likes. All this early and mid season drama though seems a bit unprofessional from pov. If Hud wanted out of Rocket1, why wait till after Florida? If your Burns, why dump the point leader in July? Both were performing, but all this ...

Was it not a back room deal when Ricky replaced Hudson? I mean, he was there to fill in for a guy who had surgery and he ends up with his ride full time. Or are we just going to get mad when it doesn't benefit the guy you cheer for?

These things happen in the big boy world, it sucks bad for Ricky, but it also sucked when Hudson was sent packing.

99% of people (including me) have no clue what went down between all parties involved. most people read something on the internet and think it’s true. Just like the rumor that went around about Hudson and mark when they split. I’ve realized that people will make their own assumptions without knowing any facts.

Hudson was racing. Burns was in line to contend for a championship. He gained NOTHING by sending Thornton down the road this week. Something 100% went down. Similarly, Thornton had nothing to gain by ruining his season because he didn't like what might happen in 2025. He was sent packing for cause.
