Is it just me being sick of the canned how does it feel questions? Dave Argabright was the best at it, ask the driver an actual question with some substance behind it.

I've had that thought a time or two but quickly realize it's because I've been going to races for so much of my life. I try to remember back to how excited I was when I first started seeing it and look around for others who get excited for it. I consider it part of the prerace so everyone can shoot a video that no one will ever see. One to go, sit the f*** down and watch the race.

I don't mind the 4 wide salute at crown jewel events but, I'm tired of them at all the regional and local races. Same with the in car interviews.....crown jewels okay, other races, no.

I like it for crown jewels and at the world finals with the sprints,LMs, and mods all on the track at once. But when your big race can't fill 3 rows for a 4 wide salute, skip it. 1st big LM races I remember were the old STARS races at Potomac. They'd line the cars on the front stretch, take a group photo, and do driver intros where every driver would sign something (Frisbees if im remembering correctly) and toss it into the stands. Didn't take a whole lot of time and went straight to racing after maybe 2-3 pace laps. I'm not sure if that was every STARS race back then, I think they did something similar for the DTWC at Pennsboro.

I still like the 4 wide salute parade lap and driver interviews if it is a regional or big show, specially if they are streamed or there isn't many other classes. In reality, I prefer the interviews over the promoter adding another class of cars

And on the original topic, im not big on the in car interviews. I'm fine with handing them a checkered flag and snapping a couple quick pictures after a heat win. I can also do without the hot pit interviews. Have a guy down there that's fine, but just have him pass a lil info to the tower/main announcers and be done.
Overton's in the pits, looks like a flat with some sheet metal damage. Back to you Skip! That's plenty, don't be in the way of or sticking a mic in front of guys trying to work and get back on the track.

Driver interviews after heats are useless unless it’s Terbo. Four wide salutes are not the greatest sight in racing, the racing is the greatest sight in racing. Also can the announcers settle down a bit on the tv?Just too much yelling. It would be nice if they gave us the option to turn the race car volume up and the announcer volume down a bit

The cars lined up on front stretch facing the wall is still the best pre race. I'd love to see that come back for the crown jewel events.

I like hearing the interviews when it's someone that doesn't win alot, or hearing their thoughts about something that took place during that race. Normally we get the same Brandon Sheppard type interview....once you've heard it once you know what it is going to be beforehand. That's not a knock on Brandon btw

Interviewing dudes after heats is corny. They only do it to kill the little bit of downtime between heats.
