Never agreed with this argument. I can't drive the car that's catching me. Guy holding the wheel of faster car is responsible for going AROUND other cars on the track. Huddy basically decided to go thru him instead. Is my understanding, when being lapped, hold your line. Lawler was running low line. Was 5 lanes above him. Huddy decided to move him. Wrecked bunch of other cars.

i was thinking the same thing. He almost got wrecked the lap before in the same spot by the lapper so instead of hitting the top and blasting around him he does the exact same thing. Lapper was consistently around the bottom.

I agree with the hold your line argument if you’re actually racing for position but Lawler was all on his own well behind the pack when Huddy came up. I would have took the hint from the previous lap and moved up well out of the way.

How would he have took RTJ over the berm? RTJ was running low as well at that point. Not trying to convince you of anything. Just stating my opinion.

My opinion, which isn't worth much, No matter whether you think it was the lappers fault, Hud's fault, or Ricky whining and whatever else there was, THIS IS GREAT FOR LATE MODEL RACING, Controversy is great in any sport, Nascar lost this years ago and they don't want controversy. IT"S A EXCITING TIME IN THE LATE MODEL WORLD, hopefully this will continue.

Not sure what the secret sauce is but that SSI car looked like it was on a railroad track last night!! Unreal how that car just rolls free around the bottom of the racetrack.

This. It’s refreshing to see two fast cars at Lucas events now. Let’s hope the others catch on quick.
