    Unwatchable Huset's Broadcast

Was I the only one who had a really rotten Silver Dollar show last night? Never went more than about 30 seconds without buffering of stoppage and finally gave up on it maybe 1/3 of the way through the main.

Don't even plan on trying again tonight and will watch our Tri State Pro Stock Challenge from Cedarville Speedway in the far northern corner of California on Speed Union TV. It's the annual and only race the track has run for years and one of our favorites that we really look forward to. Our car was nice and fresh and ready two weeks ago when my son had a work accident falling through a rotten roof and ceiling and really busting himself up. Couple of messed up vertebrae, fractured spinal column base, broken bone in one hand and a lot of bruising. Only spent one day in the hospital and is home with a projected heal time of 6-12 weeks. Hobbling around with a walker and considerable discomfort working from home for his construction company and our season is probably ended.

Could convert one of our cars for me but really don't care about going racing without him. Just glad it wasn't worse.

My broadcast was perfect, but I went to bed before the main.

I hope your son heals up well. That sounds like a nasty accident!

Mine has been buffering a lot lately. I don't have the best internet either.

I watch through a wired desktop HDMI to TV. If I leave it alone it's usually solid. I get buffering when I play with the -10 button or scroll bar.

Mine was buffering badly. I usually have buffering on all the Lucas races. I was watching the Mars race last night at the same time with no buffering. Also no buffering on Dirtvision. I have contacted Flo about Lucas races buffering but never get a response. I think it could be some of the tech they use for mavtv.

mine did the same thing , I thought it was my internet so I switched to another show and it streamed perfect , with 20 to go , I hit the live button and when it came back on , the race was over and they were doing victory lane interview , course I new who was going to win , BTW , no huge pierce fan but I will say he has really matured over the last year and I thought he gave a very good post race interview....JMO also good luck to your son,s speedy recovery , I am just getting over falling out of a upper camper bed 8 weeks ago and breaking some left side ribs , my old 61 year old azz dont heal like I use to...lol...

I also have been experiencing frequent buffering on Lucas Oil shows. Watched the night before the King's Royal on Dirtvision with no problems. The Sprint cars put on an awesome show at Eldora. I really enjoyed it and will be tuned in tonight so see who is crowned King of Eldora.

Prayers for a speedy recovery for your son.

FF, Ditto on what happened to me when I turned back to Huset show, over and done and Pierce thanking his sponsors. As others have said it seems to be a theme with Lucas races lately.

Sorry about your accident and, yeah, we sure don't heal up fast the older we get. My boy's pushing 50 and I've got nearly 35 years on him. I can remember going off roofs multiple times a day as a teenager (back in the stone age) while doing roofs for my Pop in near blizzard conditions along the Great Lakes. Just hit the frozen ground then go back up the ladder. Just the idea of that nowadays makes me cringe.

Might look into some crib rails like my 1 year old great granddaughter uses to avoid a repeat of your fall. LOL Get well soon FF.

Maybe you guys having issues can post some info to help determine any similarities between you to figure out why you are having issues. I've been streaming since pretty much the beginning and I don't experience any of the issues I see posted. Call me lucky, but on any given night I'll be streaming via my phone, my laptop, my AppleTV and sometimes chromecasting and unless it is a system-wise issue that everyone is experiencing (like we did a few weeks ago with Flo and their back-to-back issues). Years ago Dirtvision really struggled with many of their broadcasts but haven't gotten a lot better. MavTV, well, thank God that came to an end!

This leads me to believe that people are having hardware issues, bandwidth issues or any number of things. I've seen many people using their TV's app platform to watch and this is always the worst option available. I also see people "casting" to their TV's using built-in casting ability. That's probably the second worst option available. Or attaching an HDMI cable to their phone. Unless you're techy, this is just asking for problems. Older streaming devices like Roku, Firestick and whatever else is out there can cause a lot of issues with smooth streaming. They lack processing power and have limited ram. Same with an older laptop/desktop.

If you're using any of these, try investing in a newer streaming device and see if it improves. Trust me, it is very possible to stream nightly and not have one issue. I will sometimes be streaming eight races (that's about my limit to try and be able to pay attention to what is going on). I'll have 4-6 on my laptop, one or two on my phone (at once!) and one streaming on my AppleTV. I'd be pissed if I were having issues paying to watch streamed races, but also be doing something about it instead of acting like there is nothing in my control to fix it. There is.

Zero buffering last night for me. The racing was decent, but the crowd was extremely small for some reason. It’s a little better tonight.

The track looks pretty darn racy tonight.

Yep, Way too long for a show with only two classes and the big one with a surprisingly low count considering the bucks it paid. My broadcast sucked again last night the few minutes I tried to watch but the 8+ minutes highlights later were crystal clear.
Best thing about the whole show was seeing what real SLMs should still look with the Deery, whoops. Malvern Bank Late models. Bodies didn't look like old Don "bend your steel" ONeal built them. Congrats to Devin on the win.

No issues last night for a pleasant change. Last nights crowd was better than the previous 2 but wow. I thought this was 1 of Lucas Oil's bigger shows.
