Just come across this video a little bit ago. The clarity in this video is really good for the time period.
To me this era of dirt late was the best (mid / late 80's to early / mid 1990's). The cars today look ugly. Great video to see how different the cars are from back then till today and even Eldora was a lot different than it is now.

Thanks for posting. I remember being at those races. We went every year from 1978 until 2015.

37 World 100's. Now I don't know if I'll ever see another one, since my racing buddy passed away a couple of years ago.

We stayed in Richmond at the Knights Inn most of those visits.

It's hard to accept that all things come to an end, so make the best of them while they are still happening, because we will all see our last race at some point. Sad but true.

Yes Freddy won that World 100, at the time my Dad ordered our tickets from Freddies wife for several years, as they would buy a block of tickets from the track. My dad was a fan of his also.
