Where can we see side by side comparisons between bare chassis?

Uhmm, your talking about thousands of pictures... Most of mine are organized, but not all. Its an ongoing project, a hobby. You can find most of what you want to see on FB marketplace, simple searches and its all there to peruse. Here are a few from early mid 00's, around 2007-2010. a GRT Over rail, a Barry Wright and a Victory Circle like Moyer ran. I just grabbed them at random, most I have from multiple angles and some in the jig.

Where else do you look aside from FB marketplace.

Heres an oddball that I don't recall where or when I got it. Its labeled "RMR" it appears to be a DLM with sprint car rear and suspension underneath it. Way back in 1986 when I first started working on DLM's, the first team I worked with ran nothing but "Custom Chassis" built by Frank McClendon out of Columbus Georgia, Freddie Smith ran them too. Well the first car I ever worked on was a Torsion bar rear car, it had traditional DLM diff, but torsion bar suspension. When it was right it flew, but the bars had a short life span and faded quickly. We eventually switched to reverse cantilever and finally 3 link before Custom folded. I've included an example of the Canti-lever we ran, but they are from a collaboration between Rayburn and Frank in 2008.

In one of the Road to Eldora Bloomquist videos, he told a story about a no weight rule race that he ran and how he ran something similiar to what you initially described above.

Where else do you look aside from FB marketplace.

Its changed over time, it use to be 4m classifieds, but that has kinda dried up. Now its either racingjunk.com or FB marketplace. Circle track magazine use to be good for some too. I also have contacted racers who were restoring or doing an interesting project, like the Rayburn/McClendon deal mentioned above. I also use to be in contact with a lot of racers and builders back when I was still in the shock industry. Suspension systems and chassis design are my passion. These days I'm not as interested as its pretty much all the same, that's another reason I like Domination by Schlenk.
