My preference is based on the race track itself.

I think Atomic races better. This year Tyler hasn't been as dusty but there's a lot of follow the leader there now. That comes from local racers I've talked to this year. All say passing at Tyler has become difficult. I'm heading to Atomic this Saturday for the Ironman race.

It's not unusual for atomic to be all topside. And it can go bottom dominant and rubber there too. Then the fact that the scoring loop like is crooked as hell...

We go there a lot, but I don't honestly like the place that much as far as the racing. I prefer a smaller track.

I do agree with Bleedblue on the fact that the bigger late model races haven’t been real good at Tyler this year. I’ve noticed once the leaders catch lap traffic, they could barely pass them. I think it has more to do with the cars than the track though.

Atomic has rubbered more since Charlie took over. I don't know if it's something he is doing, or if it's something he's not doing.

I do like the place, and hope it gets this race. I do feel like it belongs in WV. But I'll take it being 45mins from my house though 🤷🏻♂️.

On track activity at Beckley is always above average but I don’t see it moving there. I don’t think there is enough pit parking spectator parking or camping spots there to support a hillbilly weekend. Hope I’m wrong though as I as well would like to see the race stay in West Virginia
