    gold statue

Would you support Eldora making Scott a gold statue? I know there was talk of naming a grandstand after him but no photo op with that.

This is just my thought (which means nothing), but it doesn't seem to me like Scott was the kind of person that would want a statue of himself for people to fondle over.

I do think it would be cool for Eldora to build or have a fairly permanent area to sell Scott's merchandise for years to come at all of their track events, not just late model races. Some or all of the proceeds could go to his daughter or family. He loved selling merch and sold more than anybody, probably 2-3x as much or more than anybody else.

      Good Idea.

Wouldnt mind seeing a few of the Legends over the years memorialized in that way.

      Just say no...

If it's not giving us a crotch chop, it doesn't need to exist.

I would like to see Eldora go with naming the grandstand sections by Drivers names instead of just section A so forth. It'll never happen, but would be cool.

eldora races more than late models. lots of big names in all classes. there are lots of drivers who have done well. moyer and moran. kinser and schatz. hewitt and darland. they would run out of grandstands and seating areas before they ran out of names. i understand these names have not died yet, but there are a lot of big names that are deserving who have died.

A cool idea would be to start a wall of doors or some kind of similar tribute area. Bloomer the first but then could add others as a hall of fame. Use car door panels or maybe wings for the sprinters. Maybe a display area in one of the barns or a mobile display that they set up for the big event weekends.

I'm fairly certain Charlotte has a Steve Kinser grandstand. Somewhere that I have been I seen the sign. The sign just never gets shown.

Don’t know how to copy from Twitter but if u have Twitter or Facebook find the video that Rico Abreu posted to his page. He did a tribute poem to Bloomer and has Planet Zero decals on his car at Eldora for 4 crown weekend.

“Heroes get remember but legends never Die” We lost an icon to our sport this year. Bloomer is a 1 of 1. He brought so much to the sport of dirt racing. He built his stuff, he drove the truck, he raced the car, he set it up, he won the biggest races and left with all the money. Inbetween he’d sign…
