Can’t imagine there will be a big walk up crowd tonight. Why bother to see 1 b main and the feature where we know the win is coming off front row.

My thoughts exactly when I seen what was on the tab for today. The weather being a factor won't help any either. This race used to be on my bucket list, the track still is. I'd rather see the sprint nationals at this point though.

It’s an awesome place. The sprint nationals are a sight to behold. The atmosphere is great.

I think once you have a Sanctioning body Sanction the race it sort of makes the regional and local guys (what few they have) second guess coming because they have to pay $200 to pre enter and be there for 3 days. In my opinion if you could run it like maybe in the week of the old I-80 Nationals and make it a Friday and Saturday show and run it 100 laps and pay $50,000 to win and $5,000 to start and move it out of Knoxville to maybe a track like Farley or Boone.

Wow. Tough crowd. Just because JD doesn’t like it doesn’t mean we should junk it.

the billiard great, but we need some variety. I agree, I wish they would widen ivy cutting back the berm. I doubt they are ever going to do it. Especially for one weekend a year.

also, the constant complaining about the bodies is useless. It is what it is.

$40 for 2 Lucas races + Malvern Bank is doing the growth of the event no favors.

I miss the old days of these type of events being unsanctioned. Virtually all but eldora are either woo or Lucas events these days. To me part of the fun in the old days was the big events were each a thing unto themselves. No series provisionals no series favoritism etc. now at a Lucas crown jewel there is no chance one of the top series drivers misses the show. And as u mentioned once it’s sanctioned the locals feel even more outclassed.

The berm prevents people from driving over a big drain in turn 2.... might be on in 4 too, not sure I only drove over that one exiting 2, when I raced there.

Did they give up after the rain? I'm watching Bristol on YouTube via Kyle Busch in-car.

Knoxville is just another 3 day race on the schedule. Id would rather see another 50k to win race at FALS honestly than this race or another race at Eldora

I went one time probably 10 years ago, cool place awesome facility. The Saturday program just isn't worth a 4.5 hour drive for me. Should just make it a one day show (that would actually be different nowadays) doesn't sound like the drivers even like going there and the motor abuse has to be unreal.
