I'm not sure if he was throwing a hissy fit or not but he was definitely complaining / whining about something. Seem like lately that's been his MO if things don't go his way.

Madden couldn't seem to pass anyone clean at the start. Him and GR together are a match made in heaven.

The dirt on dirt photo of madden leaned in toward Ricky and Ricky leaning back like he’s scared is funny. Madden did race him pretty bad though.
I feel like the madden crew chief thing was just to infiltrate see what thornton was doing. Madden got what he wanted and split.

Yeah I think it's definitely safe to say that the Madden and RTJ relationship that was supposedly working so well is over for sure now. Madden looked like a dart without feathers the last 2 nights but he got it done. Between him and JD and RTJ there were several big wrecks that could have happened Friday and Saturday but somehow they just pinged off each other and kept going.

I've had enough of his baby whiny interviews. Madden has always raced hard and aggressive but smooth and holds his line, much like Dennis Erb. RTJ was intentionally trying to wreck Madden. There's a difference. I won't be buying any RTJ merch anytime-ever. I see a Saturday night street stock career coming.

Come on now. We all know that if roles were reversed Madden would have been pitching a hissy fit too.

Madden haters gonna hate, no matter what. I don't believe for a second Madden went to work for RTJ to "learn" or "Steal" anything, he's smart enough on chassis he doesn't need to. I concede the move he made on the start wasn't the cleanest, but RTJ's retaliation divebombs at Madden's LR I thought were a little over the top and more self harming and stupid. I had previously thought RTJ to be better than that, but the way he kept at it so blatantly was kinda ugly. Its been a while since I've seen someone at that level behave like that, maybe this explains more his departure from SSI,. Who needs childish temper tantrums? Mixing it up is one thing, but what he was doing was uncalled for I thought especially since the earlier incident didn't harm his cars aero, but once he started playing bumper cars, that was on him if it hurt his performance. Lastly, I'm not a fan of the "new" style of aero racing that has come to dominate DLM, where taking someone else air is an excepted maneuver, the same way I hated the "chop's" that Josh Richards use to throw on starts when he drove Rocket1. I'd like to see the starts between Madde/RTJ from a different angle before I pass judgement since I wasn't there, but from what I saw on YT it looked like Madden was either moving up to break RTJ momentum or he felt like he needed a wider entry to the turn, I dunno. Congrats to Madden on the victory especially if his retirement is permanent and this was his final run. To RTJ I'm kinda surprised he didn't see that move coming from Madden, unless there is more between them than I know and all of that back and forth began some place else off track and both parties were being less than friendly in the lack of respect for one another.
