I guess when you steal a notebook of information and a thumb drive from the smasher all from a winning team, it does seem to make things a little easier.

If true how does someone think they are getting away with no repercussions? Court of law might provide be the least painful penalty.

Unfortunately it’s true. Madden drove back to the shop, unloaded and washed everything up. Packed his things along with some that didn’t belong to him that are mentioned and left. He was asked to return them and receive his last paycheck but has yet to do so.

This all makes more sense than the minor rubbing from the weekend. But if they had beef before the weekend started the contact was all likely intentional. Alllll makes sense now

Sounds a lot like conspiracy theory to me. I'd more readily believe he took back what was his(Madden) and they intended to keep what he brought to them. Prior to Madden joining team, RTJ was NOT setting the world on fire like he had with SSI prior to split and JO had been mediocre at best for a while. Madden has knowledge and experience with LH and XR1, he's very good with shocks(I know first hand) but I've never known him to steal from anyone. RTJ was fired abruptly from SSI, Madden had to quit driving for a while due to health issues but he was running good. I don't see why Madden would need to take anything from RTJ, there was nothing to gain. Until I have knowledge otherwise I say its more likely RTJ and Madden butted heads too many times, maybe they thought they could milk him for his info and cast him aside, but he was shrew enough to see what was unfolding and reclaimed his intellectual property.

Racing is the only sport where it’s 20 percent talent. 80% what’s underneath you.

Oh, I think in the case of Pierce , Thornton, and a few others the talent level is much higher than 20%!
Think how many are out there who, given the best equipment available, still couldn't come close to winning.

It is odd that young drivers with nowhere near the wealth of experience win more races until you consider how much contact they maek with other cars. The only reason McCreadie wasn't a world beater in the Rocket is because he's old enough to know how to take care of equiptment and respects everyone else in the pits. He's probably the first guy in that car to not have some other team come to the pit stall looking for a fight.
