This is a good thing, IMHO the SAS has seemingly been just treading water since the previous purchase. They also seemed to move away from BJ Parkers original vision of staying within so many miles so working racers could still make the shows, a "true" blue collar tour. I think Ray will do a great job with it. Maybe a revamping of the rules...

Agree with Henry. So many high level regional touring series have struggled. Hopefully guys like ray cook can bring by them back. Tough market when costs have destroyed local racing.

Ray has already said none, let’s him promote the whole year instead of spring and summer

All of it will probably do well. Ray Cook is a pretty sharp promoter from up there in the holler.

Best news I've seen in a while. Ray is a top notch promotoer and human being. SAS hasn't been what it used to be for a while now and I suspect Ray will get it back to that greatness. If I had the money to go racing again, I would committ to this series in a hear beat now.
