Owens/Davenport have nothing on their schedules (as of now) past speedweeks).
    Owens might follow HTF.
#79 McIntosh is a “ possible “ candidate for Lucas Tour ROY- depending on speedweeks & more sponsorship.

i guess with the lucas having the deal you can drop races, his lucas run might not be scratched if he has some good runs down there. Mikey has never seemed like somebody that enjoys that tour grind so i dont blame him if so

The Lucas points format for Florida:
Teams use their best 5 races of the races that pay 10k or more- “ BUT” -unless you attempt every event you only get 50 show up points per night.
he missed the 1GI race which puts him in the above category.
tricky rule but I would assume it is to keep the car count up for Speedweeks.
But first place pays 175 points per race- so by the rule -Marlar would only receive 50 show up points per race.
All but eliminating him from a championship run.

The points format came from James during the GI race live coverage. It is a Ga/Florida specific rule.

if you win every race on LOLMDS it pays you $250,000 more than if you win every race won WoO. so im guessing that the pay back thru the field on WoO is pretty close to LOLMDS for all the "mid packers" to choose WoO over LOLMDS. Pierce is the most dominate car in lm's right now yet WoO has more committed than LOLMDS. no matter what you think of both tours, the WoO having more committed drivers is an upset imo.

I think the chase, while maybe exciting for fans, is not attractive to a guy who wants to race for a traditional SEASON championship. I saw some on social media (when Ricky didn't win the title) say that they would never race for a championship under that format. I'm sure a few like the format and I'm sure some are ok with it because of the money difference. Pierce was high earner the last 2 years (I'm almost certain) and did so by running WoO and some LOLMS and unsanctioned races.

I wish rocket 1 would go back WoO. Ive been wrong before but hoffman and gustin are the only 2 that have any chance of making the points interesting with pierce, maybe there will be some surprises after florida

#11 Austin Smith signs with the Outlaws as well. Pretty much any driver that was at Golden Isles could still really run either series though. Will be interesting to see how it shakes out. Both series seem to be doing a great job though. RTJ paid the deposit for the Outlaws and will decide after Speedweeks according to Volusia broadcast. Same situation with Max Blair

                        Sounds like you can ADD
#99jr Frank Heckenast Jr. to the World of Outlaws - They just announced he has paid the loyalty deposit.

#11B Stacy Boles - According to Ruben Stacy has declared his intentions as well for the World of Outlaws.

To be in contention to race for the championship in either series: you have to sign io and pay up.

Correct. Many just wanting to keep their options open depending on how Speedweeks goes and see where they sit. Jimmy Owens also paying the deposit as well as Carson Ferguson which would also make him a ROY candidate if he ended up doing it. Speaking of Owens...after the way he charged through the field at Golden Isles and now is fastest in hotlaps at Volusia with a near World 100 caliber field.......

How awesome would it be if Thornton went WoO and we get Pierce vs. Thornton head to head in basically every race they compete in.
