Lucas oil series has better cars.

I am hearing that Lucas Oil will have better cars and drivers than WOO in 2025. With the pay raises and money payout to points is WOO and WRG going down? High Limit took alot of the top WOO teams in Sprint Cars and Lucas has done the same and FLO is kicking Dirtvisions butt bad on their end.

Same thing was said at the start of this past season. Then the second place car in WOO points wins I think 7 races on the Lucas schedule. Tied with JD and he ran every event. I don't know how you can ever say ones better than the other.

Well the Rocket House car hasn't come close to the success they had in WoO. They won a Lucas championship only because of a winner takes all rule, they were nowhere near the points leader the last few years. Contrast that with the last few years they ran WoO. Lucas has had the better cars and drivers for at least a decade.

This eldora official you talk too needs to stop with what they are hearing.

          The WRG isn't going anywhere

Lucas had a better field this year on paper, but the competition and racing was better on the outlaw side IMO

I’m surprised it was something other than an Eldora car count.

This again... I'm no rocket fanboy, I'm not a Longhorn Bro either, but this is getting old. For years they ragged on Rocket1 for not running Lucas, that they weren't good enough. So Richards brings his team to Lucas and bags a title in short order. So what that they don't win it every year! Tyler Erb been hot this year bagging races and he's in a XR1, against most if not all of your Lucas/Longhorn Bro's. It won't be long, every brand that has become dominant/popular eventually step on their phallus and people begin jumping ship and disperse to other brands. Longhorn bro's, enjoy your time on top because soon it WILL happen to you and then every pimple face twit with a smart phone and an instagram account will be questioning your existence. I began in 1986, Rayburn was the sought after chassis, but we had more diversity then. Late 80's enter Bloomquist and Mastersbilt and they got hot. After that it was GRT, then Rocket, then Longhorn, etc, etc. Sprinkle in between resurgences of the old guard and regional brands too. Just like the NWO, nobody can stay on top forever, nobody.

Richards certainly isn't as dominant against cars that aren't Rockets. I think the last couple years they raced WoO there wasn't a singel LH on tour, just his customers and some other fringe chassis makers.

Did Longhorn even exist then? Terry's son was racing one in its early stages and that doesn't seem like too long ago.

Seems to me Rocket has done pretty well considering the number of Rockets to Longhorns on the Lucas Tour...

I'm going guess Longhorn came on the national scene around 2010 with EPJ in the Lifelock #46. Car was a boat anchor.

There was a time, what about 8-10 years ago or so, that Black Diamond was a hot item there for a minute and that went out of style quickly.

That's probably about right. Terry's kid, that I couldn't remember earlier as driving one, was Justin Labonte, I believe. He was running around the Carolinas back then. Oftentimes, the grandfather was with him. Eventually got fast with qualifying but never did master the features.

They debuted the longhorn chassis at the North South in 2010 when redbuck was big into the sport as a sponsor. Earl (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word) near beat Jimmy that night for the win. In typical earl fashion, he didn't do much after that. He and Neat both ran top 10 on this night though.

The longhorns were just a reclipped mastersbilt car then from what I remember.
