Virginia Motor Speedway Closing

After 25 years track owner Bill Sawyer is shutting it down. Says the inflation got too much. Never been there but I understand that it's a nice facility but quite a distance from anywhere and never could draw a crowd. The dirt world sadly loses another track and it's a darned shame.

Never like to hear of a track closing. I enjoyed some of the Commonwealth 100 races back when it was more on the national scene.
