Rumors on Dome?

One part of me is not sure from a business standpoint that would make much sense (doesn't mean it won't happen, or that I think that it shouldn't). Already getting more cars than they can handle and great growds, would just take away from the bottom line. Other side would be that maybe they attract a few more higher quality cars and loose some that are there 'just to say they raced at the dome' guys. Might improve the show and stop a few of the needless cautions (running last on the last lap of the consi, now where close to a transfer spot and you "just send it"....tearing sections of fence down and causing a huge delay.

For the racers, hope they get more $$$$.

While i don't disagree with what your saying i feel like it's not totally the racers fault this year. They have a little more banking in it resulting in the outside wall being a little shorter and the k rails not functioning as designed. The guy that went out of the track in turn 3 really didn't do anything crazy or over his head he just tagged the wall a bit getting in and instead of just knocking the rf off it climbed the rail and off he went. Same with the guy that "sent it" he was all but out of the gas when the hole closed pinching him in the wall but it's so short that he immediately went up and into the fence. I'm not saying more less experienced guys wouldn't help the show but that's a hard line to draw because the first few years wouldn't of been a success without all that support from said guys. I don't feel like I've seen near as many stupid moves cause delays as years past i just think it's alot easier to get up and over the wall this year. They brought in alot more dirt this year

Don't know if it's possible but another foot taller with the concrete would spare a lot of fence repairs. The banking really improved the racing so kudos for that.

Sounds like they upped the $$$$, good for racers! Hopefully it will keep increasing the quality of the cars and bring in more attention to the sport. Glad to see Cody reinvesting in the sport and sharing the success with the racers who put it on. All the hype, drama, etc. does pay off; I do believe some in our sport need to pay attention and learn to become a promotor versus a race track operator- yes, there is a difference! (that's for anyone who remembers the old 'glass house' t shirts)

They have to figure out some way to protect the fence. You can't sit hours watching 30 green flag laps.

The fence shoul be curved away from the barrier a bit. All a car has to do is touch it and they're pulled right in.
