December 10, 2024 – Spoon River Speedway is excited to announce operational plans for the upcoming race season. Tim Neidig, who served as promoter during the 2024 race season, has entered into a lease agreement with the Denney family, and will return to the position for the 2025 season.
The 3/8-mile oval historically known to contest weekly divisions on Saturdays made the shift to Fridays for the 2024 season, as planned by then-promoter Cloyd Barden. Barden stepped away from the position in May due to health reasons which left the Denney family in search of another promoter. For 2025, weekly racing events will move back to Saturday nights as held in years past.
“We feel that Tim stepped up and did a great job taking over as Promoter in the middle part of the season. We look forward to what the 2025 season has in store," said Brad Denney.
More details including a schedule release and weekly divisions will be released in the coming days.Website: www.BrendonBaumanPhotos.com

i think 2025 is the last year for clarkeville as a racetrack. sad for the locals to lose a track but every race ive seen on the tv from clarksville was subpar. not the drivers fault, just a crap track imo.Everybody Love Everybody!
Spumoni!
4m trolls are so sad....

It will be interesting if anyone follows the entire series. The amount of damage of constant racing is trending the SN to the high dollar teams who do not follow a national series. I would personally, like to see Mars schedule a few races in Illinois when the SN is out of traveling range for the regional Illinois guys.

The map is incorrect. Red Hill Raceway is just a bit west of the Terre Haute, Indiana area in Illinois. This map shows it just to the Northwest of Kankakee, IllinoisOriginally posted by klemmabyna View PostNathan Stephens
